Saab 9-5
|
Saab 9-5, the most technically advanced Saab ever, was presented at IAA Frankfurt in 2009.
Recently, Saab was in a battle to survive. The Dutch company Spyker believes in its future and gets General Motor’s Saab out of difficulty. A diverse history helped Saab to gain technical know-how in the aircraft, truck and car industry over the years. Saab 9000 is replaced by Saab 9-5 sedan and station wagon in 1997. The new Saab 9-5 is an executive car that belongs to the premium midsize sedan segment. Saab 9-5 was the first car finished after the restart of production at the Saab plant in Trollhättan (Sweden).
The new generation of Saab 9-5 offers a wide array of ‘high-tech’ features. |
Saab Night Panel (formerly Saab Black Panel) reduces the risk of distraction while driving, because it blacks out the instrument panel, except from the speedometer. The aircraft inspired head-up display (HUD) projects information on the Saint-Gobain Sekurit windscreen. The design of the car is creative, because the windscreen seems to be connected with the sidelites thanks to the black A-pillars.
Saint-Gobain Sekurit is the OEM supplier!
