Peugeot RCZ

The (308) Peugeot RCZ concept car, a compact 2+2 coupé, has become reality at Frankfurt Motorshow in 2009.

Peugeot has introduced a new slogan ‘motion & emotion’, which is in line with the wish to put more ‘joie de vivre’ into new models. As a result, the RCZ is the first passenger car that does not use the zero or double zero numbering system in its name. RCZ is not an abbreviation, it just sounds sporty. The RCZ has a 308-like dashboard, but is characterized as more sportive compared to the current 308 coupé. The RCZ will be the French alternative for the popular Audi TT.

The RCZ has a remarkable feat of engineering and is produced by Magna Steyr in Austria.
The vehicle is made as light as possible thanked to the aluminum components. The Saint-Gobain Sekurit windscreen is tinted. The ‘double bubble’ of the roof and backlite are tinted and required the use of polycarbonate instead of glass, which give the car a stylish signature.
